Black Legion next 40K Codex Supplement?

Best_Pone on Warseer has posted a rumor that The Black Legion is the next codex supplement we will see.

So, I've heard from a little birdy that Black Legion will be getting the next supplement. No idea if that will be August or not though, seeing as August is a WFB month.

Now, this seems a bit odd. The Chaos Space Marine codex is basically The Black Legion, not loyal to any one god, but Chaos undivided. It would make so much more sense to release a codex supplement for any one of the four Chaos gods.

Of course, this is just a rumor.

Craig said...: It would also make sense to make a suppliment for the other independent legions such as iron warriors and nightlords. Black legion are probably the most generic of the traitor legions just as the ultrasmurfs are for the loyalists.; July 11, 2013 at 9:50 AM

Unknown said...: Well the Chaos Codex isn't black legion, in fact the only Black Legion thing about that codex is Abaddon and all he does is make Chosen Troop choices, that's about it.

Personally, and this really is just wishful thinking, I hope they do more flavorful legions as supplements, Black Legion could be really awesome, but I'm hoping for Night Lords, Word Bearers, and Iron Warriors.

It really does seem like the supplements are a new version of "Chapter Approved".
