Awesome news! I'd completely forgotten about this. I am pleasently surprised GW gave the go ahead on something fan mad as they so far have seemed rather " retentive". I love aaron's writing and the graphics look much better than the professionally made Ultramarine movie. Not too fond of the trailers voiceover but that is an insignificant minor gripe. I will definitely be buying this movie when it is released!
@ CLBenarius: As I understand it, the goal is to release it for free. The reason the project team received the go-ahead was because they aren't making any money from it. Though it's definately great advertising for GW for something they don't have to spend a cent on.
Aha, I understand their move. Well its very commendable that Erasmus is creating it for free because it certainly looks good enough to be worth a lot effort and money. I hope this will open doors for the creator.
He already received an offer from Crytek to direct cinematic animations in their video games, and that was just because they saw the trailer. :D
