visit the site. The stuff is awesome. Modular to allow endless possibilities and keeps a cohesive theme
I hope Allies are back in... it would be nice to be able to have an Inquisitor with a (even if grudging) support element of the IG again. It would pretty much be awesome for me since I have Imperial Guard, Sisters of Battle, and now Space Marines. That said... I hope Tyranids get something to make up for the lack of allies since that kinda is a downer if you are a Nids fan.
Interesting, not so sure the allies thing will be good thing, but I guess we'll see...

ME!
Allies would be sweet. The fact that Tau can ally with all space marines seems to validate the new fluff rumors as well
Dark Angels dont want to ally with you. We're happy doing our own thing. Not that we have anything to hide of course......
I'm against the inclusion of allies, but if they do decide to implement allies they really need a good way to limit what you can choose from any singular codex. I mean, I play both Grey Knights and Imperial Guard and even I don't want to see them together.
It doesn't make much sense to me. Why put out a chart if the allies rules would be in the new rulebook that comes out at the same time? And if this were the case, you'd have everyone allying with Grey Knights. It'd be too broken.
And put my drawing entries toward one of the bunker or gun turret pieces. I think those are my favorite, Fisty, items :)
I suppose I'm not sure what the point of Allies is (even if it is allowed). Is it basically mixing armies? Are there penalties for taking allies? I know these are only rumors, so I'm not going to spend a lot getting worked up over it.
Beautiful model! I'm sure it will go to a good home :)
I can see it all now:
Tau: What are you doing in Damocles?
Dark Angel, French accent: MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!!
And so forth...
I think the most obvious answer is that 'Allies' will be in the rulebook..BUT..not the way 40K players seem to be thinking. In WHFB you have 'Allies' rules for Multi-player games only. You don't mix forces within one player's build.
This seems like a no-brainer to me, maybe because I actually play WHFB. I don't understand how people assume 'Allies' will be allowed in individual player's forces. It must be some institutional memory from what the rules used to be.
As a Chaos Marines player (Death Guard), this sounds like great news. Kind of fed up of the 1-dimensional daemons in the codex which don't seem realistic enough from a fluff perspective.
