Loken's Back, Heresy Gaming and more...

Well, I'm back and this blog will slowly change over the next few weeks.

What's in store? Well, the blog will be changing its focus from 40K in general, to Horus Heresy in particular. Opening a store really drained the joy out of this hobby, especially dealing with the trolls at Games Workshop trade, who basically tried to black mail me into shutting down the blog.

And where I find Games Workshop as a corporate entity a nightmare, ignorant and stunted. Forge World and Black Library are truly brilliant people with a grand vision. So that is where my effort will go.

So I am focusing on that. This blog will be renamed Heresy 30K, which mirrors the Heresy 30K Forum we have built, which is the hottest place online to talk about Horus Heresy gaming. With over 1,200 members and 31,000+ posts, this is THE place to discuss Heresy Gaming.

So stay tuned. And oh, the new Forge World Bulletin came out and here is your tidbit:

But their response is normally they want to make it... but there is just too many projects going on at any one time. 30K is the real man's Warhammer game anyway. ;-)

I spoke with one of the sculptors one time I called first thing when they opened up (2am in California). Apparently he was the first person in at work and happened to grab the phone so that was pretty cool. Super nice guy. I asked if there were any plans to release a Heresy-era Librarian in Mk 2 or 3 armor or in Cataphractii or Tartaros Terminator armor, as well as a Heresy-era Chaplain and a Stormbird.

The first 2 they said they'd like to but no ETA. The Stormbird got a 'definitely maybe' though size-wise it'd be on par with a Manta.; July 7, 2014 at 4:57 PM
