40K Rumor Roundup

A new mini-rulebook, new supplements and more!
Here is the latest from various sources:


1.  A mini-rulebook for 40K is on retailer's order form this week.  Since everything is in hard cover now, and the price is $ 49.50, we assume it is a smaller version of the enormous volume that is the 40K rule book.  This is smart in that the main rulebook is just too big to be lugging to every game.  Check with your local retailer.

And an iPad edition here.  This costs $ 39.99.


2.  The Black Legion Codex Supplement is being released digitally in August as it is in the upcoming White Dwarf.

3.  A Tau Codex Supplement for "Tau Mercs" is heading our way according to Faeit 212, which includes Vespid and Kroot HQ choices, and the ability to play non "Tau" Lists.

4.  Eldar Beil-Tan and Saim-Hann are both getting supplements down the road.
 
5.  Space Marines are getting something BIG.  Larry at BoLS reports:

Regarding the "larger terminators" - these models are described as being similar in aesthetic to the curving shapes of both the Contemptor and Tau Stealth suits. Bigger than current Terminators - but smaller than a Dreadnought.

Regarding the "big kit" - this model has been described as being the "lovechild of an existing Dreadnought, and a Contemptor - but ENORMOUS. It has also been described as a "Knight" with the following old EPIC images hinted at:
