New 7th Edition Rulebook Info
We have some fresh rumors from Lords of War Gaming. This time, we get to hear about the new 7th edition rulebook. They had this to say about it:
NEW 7th Edition rumors:
"7e 40K Rulebook comes in a slipcase with 3 books – rules, miniatures showcase, background"
How handy will that be? When you go out to play, take just the rules with you! No more lugging around all that extra content at tournaments or on game days. I'm kind of surprised they didn't think of this sooner.
What I'm wondering is whether the rules section will be available separately. For someone who just bought the big 6th ed. rulebook only a year ago, acquiring the newer one in chunks will agree with my wallet a little better. What do you guys think?

It means that if you want to buy them individually (or even as a whole) the price is going to go up...
ReplyDeleteOtherwise great idea!!!
I think I could handle the higher individual price, if I'm not paying the whole thing at once. It's not the most economically sensible thing to do, but I don't have the funds to pick it up at once. More options for more people's situation though, potentially. I'm just speculating that they may make that option available.
ReplyDeleteThe books were split out like this for both 40k and Fantasy in the early 90's. When they then released expansions, like for magic/psychic, it was simply another book on the stack.
ReplyDeleteAn interesting point. Perhaps we'll see a larger sleeve (for the set) that has open slots for Cities of Death and the like. :)
