20,000 points is possible to reach especially if you think of space marine chapters. One company has around 100 marines and if you figure the basic 2-HQ, 2-Termie squads, 4-Tactical squads, 2-scouts squads, 2-assault squads, 2-devastator squads. It comes to around 3800 with some basic transports. I have 5 like these as my main space marine army which is around 19,000 not including the big heavies like land raiders or flyers. Laugh!!
