Forge World addiction? What Forge World addiction?

Hi, my name is Loken, and I am a resin addict.

Yup, I have a problem.  But let's face it, it is a good problem.  I buy Forge World.  I buy too much Forge World.  I have boxes and boxes and bags and bags of unbuilt models, like many of you!  And living in California, my apartment is pretty small (that damn sunshine tax) so there isn't a lot of space.  But thank God I have a small movie studio where I can store everything and have big Apocalypse games!

So back to my problem.  I have too much Forge World.  Yes, I am building my Raven Guard legion to add to about the 80,000 points of Crimson Templars Space Marines, Blood Angels, Dark Angels, Imperial Guard, Sisters of Battle and Titan legions.  I have two Armorcast Warhounds (aka Derphounds), two Forge World Warhounds (a Mars and a Lucius), two Armorcast Reavers, a Forge World Reaver, and two custom Warlords that I am converting to Emperor class Titans (Because the Forge World Warlord I am having painted falls height wise right between the Reaver and my custom Lucius Warlord.  See below it makes sense).

My 3 Spartans:

I mail order Forge World, buy it off eBay when I see a good deal, Use the Heresy Trading groups on Facebook.  Heck, I started a Heresy Trading Group on Facebook to support my addiction!  I buy things when I go to Warhammer events, or wherever FW sets up.  Now they are at Adepticon, Dragon Con, Las Vegas Open, all of which I go to.  Damn!  A guy cannot get a break.  Stop tempting me!  

And now I bring event-only models home for my friends, so I feel like a drug mule!  Which means maybe we all need a 12 step program.  

But you know, there really isn't any downside here.  This is a pretty healthy addiction.  I mean, I am not out on the street.  The girl friend actually wants to learn how to paint minis.  I don't have kids, so no one is going to miss out on a college education. 

My dining room table is currently filled with Forge World miniatures.  Leviathans, Deredeos, and lots and lots of troops.  Boxes of vehicles in bags waiting to be built.  And a tournament in a month!

So off I go to build my first 30K legion, the Raven Guard.  I guess I can live with this problem...I guess.  ;-)
