ReplyDeleteInstead of the $40 book, just having some black and white rules included in the box would have been just fine...
ReplyDelete40 isn't bad considering you get the superheavy walker rules from the escalation book, the force org for allied detatchment, force org for primary detatchment, ally matrix, warlord traits as well as comprehensive backstory for each house, freeblade, as well as the story of the knight titans themselves...
ReplyDeleteIt's still an army, armies need codex's, regardless of how many units are within, at least it's not 50, and is going to be hard back, as well as full color, and probably well worth the cash.
I pre-ordered mine, besides a book is a great idea, flimsy papers are destined to be lost, torn, worn out, or otherwise trashed, and is overall a ghetto way of releasing rules, I want a BOOK!
Yeah books are nice. And as far as GW goes, $41 isn't too bad.
