Scibor Releases Resin Marine Bike

Scibor has jumped into the Space Marine bike market with an awesome release. This is clearly the best of the bikes we have seen recently.  And it comes with an amazing marine rider.  You can buy it here.

The bikes are $ 28 each, so a bit pricey compared to $ 15 for a GW Marine bike.  But, it makes sense if you can afford it to have something different in your army.  I am going for a bunch myself.

  2. Looks great but indeed a bit to slick for 40k, for 30k on the otherhand....

However i do think its a bit pricey. You'll pay over 100 euro for a 5 man squad.

  3. It does look too sleek for the 40k Dark Gothic industrial theme, but I do especially appreciate the double tires. If one is punctured, the bike can continue to operate without too much of its effectiveness being diminished.

  4. Looks good, but reminds me of the bikes from Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children.

  5. Looks a little too.... Tron, for me. And I wonder, how would he turn without his front tire sheering the machine guns off?

  6. One question that i have to any and all manufacturers of model or miniature of two wheeled motorcycles how ignorant can you be to make such a basic mistake... The front wheels can never be the same width as the back ones!!! Actually they can if you want crappy manoeuvrability... Smile* i want the possibility of riding one those beasts not just using them as a miniature or game where one suspends reality... I want things to make sense!!! As i am being carted off to the insane asylum for those who want reality rules in games, movies, and star trek... Laugh!!!!

  7. @dorn and maxi. Both of your comments can be explained away by the bike having two front wheels and a hyper-saphisticated onbord computer. The two front tires spin at different speeds and when nessissary, different directions allowing the vehicle to achieve superior maneuverability. A possible explanation for the sleek and streamlined appearance of the vehicle is that it was designed by the eldar as a gift to the Imperium

  8. This is the fourth time that i have chaos rob's response and i still can't get around the words that keep popping up in my brain... Are frigging kidding!?! I ride motorcycles.. Not the kiddy ones but the actual i have passed the adolescent stage and know how to use the machines the way they are supposed to be used! Hard, fast, and with lots of attention... Wheels that spin contrary to each other, or even of different speeds is just not thinking about what you are trying to apply it to.

  9. You ride motorcycles in the year 2000. Not the year 40,000. Im not an engineer. And i would wadger that you are not either. No matter how hard fast or loud you ride your motorcycle (Over compensation is fun) you cannot possibly belive that your limited scope of how motorcycles work will still apply after 38 thousand years of technological and mechanicle advances. My point is to illustrate that that just because you donot like the way the motorcycle in the picture above looks, doesnt mean that it couldnt work.

  10. You could make up any number of reasons it could work, but what we're saying is that with the logistics of it's movement being broken just upon a glancing inspection of the model it ruins the suspension of disbelief. I mean, how can you ride something without skulls on it, anyway?
