Forgeworld to Release Horus Heresy Books



The Horus Heresy is coming! Forgeworld has announced that it will be releasing Book 1 of a series on The Horus Heresy. Check out the teaser trailer.



And now let me say that is the most BORING trailer I have seen from GW. Come on guys. 16 year olds with a Mac do better video than that. And you are talking about the most EPIC of battles. UGH. Getting tired of these lame "trailers".

But I am excited to lose my retirement savings to gaming! Bring on the Thousand Sons! This is going to bring a whole new aspect to Warhammer 40K.

    I was expecting some big and intense music sequences and images of models/artwork after "The Galaxy Will Burn", instead some lame flames...

    Well...the trailer was, as stated already, the worst piece of conceived tripe....I don't have a mac and I could do better...

    C'mon...if you're going to write the "definative" fluff books with rules; then act like it and put some effort into advertising it...

    Conversly, I too will be spending a portion of the gold tucked away in Ft Knox to have these...Not sure who to play, but man, what a rush it'll be!

    What a joke that trailer is. The books have the opportunity to be epic and maybe convert a whole new group of people. Instead they make this drivvel as the established community will share it anyway. Cant imagine other companies like Apple doing the same.

    Regardless i will buy the books and plan to also do a 1k sons army. Although i dread collecting a second red army (collect BA too) and am a staunch loyalist, their fluff is just too cool to pass up.

    Wow, can't wait for these to be released. Heresy era Marines, Vehicles and Special Characters. Forgeworld are what I hope GW turn in to, releasing interesting models on a regular basis.

    agree CL. The Thousand SOns fluff is amazing and that book is still my favorite after the first 3.
