Forge World Releases Space Marine Flyer, more.

Forge World is on a roll with lots of new models!

Mechanicum, Alpha Legion, Ultra Marines and more have all gotten love.

Xiphon Pattern Interceptor

At the Horus Heresy Weekender, the general consensus was that this looked a little too much Battlestar Galctica Viper.  Still cool....

From Forge World:

With unparalleled speed and maneuverability, the Xiphon pattern Interceptor saw increasing service in the Legiones Astartes during the dark days of the Horus Heresy. Based on ancient designs, the void and atmospheric craft carried heavy armaments into battle, allowing it to destroy both air and ground targets with apparent ease. Its pair of twin-linked lascannon and Xiphon rotary missile launcher combined with the Interceptor’s speed and agility to make it a deadly opponent from which the enemies of Mankind could not hide.

The Xiphon Pattern Interceptor is a flyer that is available to all Legiones Astartes armies in Horus Heresy games. Experimental rules for this unit can be found HERE. Additional experimental rules for using this vehicle in standard games of Warhammer 40,000 can be found HERE.

This is a complete multi-part resin kit which includes a plastic canopy and flying stand. It is available to pre-order today for despatch from Friday 3rd April.

It clocks in at £80 or $118.  It is available on the Forge World website.  Not cheap, but worth buying a few to have some air power!

 Armillus Dynat

The new Alpha Legion character is pretty damn sharp!

From Forge World:

Armillus Dynat, the Harrowmaster of the Alpha Legion, has been a feared strike commander since his name came to prominence during the invasion of Paramar. Known to possess strategic genius, his style of warfare is as intricate as it is unorthodox. Using fast moving, heavily armoured vehicles and close air support, he will split enemy formations apart before crushing them without mercy.

Armillus Dynat is an expert duellist and warrior in his own right. Wielding a thunder hammer and power sword in unison and carrying uncommon wargear such as venom spheres and phosphex bombs, he is an opponent to be reckoned with.

The latest model in the Horus Heresy Character Series, Armillus Dynat is a multi-part resin kit that is supplied with both a 32mm base and a 50mm scenic base. The rules for using Armillus Dynat in games set during the Horus Heresy can be found in The Horus Heresy Book Three – Extermination. This kit is available to pre-order today for despatch from Friday 3rd April.

Dynat costs £31 or $ 46 and is available on the Forge World website.

The Mechanicum ScyllaxGuardian Covenant Automata

From Forge World:

Deployed onto the battlefield as elite shock troops or the bodyguards of their magos overseers, Mechanicum Scyllax Guardian-automata have been adapted with a wide variety of mechadendrites and servo-arms for dissecting living matter with murderous speed. With an armoured carapace as durable as Legiones Astartes battle plate and powered by a rad furnace which can vent debilitating radiation at will, the Scyllax Guardian-automata are a force to be truly feared on the battlefield.

The Mechanicum Scyllax Guardian-automata Covenant consists of four Scyllax Guardian-automata, each armed with a Scyllax bolter and various interchangeable claws and mechadendrites forming a mechadendrite combat array. Scyllax Guardian-automata Covenants can be taken in Mechanicum armies in Horus Heresy games and experimental rules for this unit are available to download HERE.

This is a complete multi-part resin kit. It is available to pre-order now for despatch from Friday 27th March.

They come as a set of 4 for £36 or $53.  You can get them
