Puppets War continues to put out amazing models that fit perfectly into 40K.
The Dragonfly aircraft is an awesome multi-part kit which includes 27 components. Made for 35mm tabletop wargames scale (300mm length from front to tail, and wingspan of about 260mm). It retails for a very reasonable $ 40.
Looks like it could lift a Rhino, but I wish this was more of a Storm raven/Storm Eagle analog and could carry troops.
Knowing Puppets War they will come out with variations.

yeah I want a Chaos Storm Eagle so my Berzerker blob might actually get into combat. And I don't want to pay £90 plus shipping for a Forgeworld model with zero quality control which will take 5000 hours of work to actually fit all the wonky bits together...

ReplyDeletetry paying £400 plus for a thunderhawak that took more time than i thought possible to complete and seemed like it was casted by a 5 year old. great looking model IMO but simply laughable kit. so +1 for a super heavy flyer that actually goes together easily. and who knows after the recent success of dreamforge and their leviathans, a plastic flyer may not be out of the question.
this i like though. and is actually good value.
