Puppets War has the absolute best Lascannon/Twin Linked Plasma Rifle turret to make a Razorback.
Tabletop Art has released a banner set that is pretty damn sweet. It includes both a Templar and a Chaos banner. Cost is 7.50 Euros.
Scibor has a new Celtic Ruins Terrain Set.
I do like that you can have the gunner peeking up from the turret, but I'm gonna insist that Chapter House has the best turret. All the weapons options, predrilled for included magnets, and in the style of the actual turret. I LOVE it. But, again, Puppets War's throwback to the original turrets is nice. :)
ReplyDeleteHave you ever tried to actually BUILD the Chapterhouse Turret? It is complete and total trash. I ordered three of them for an army and I actually just now ordered three of the Puppetswar turrets to replace them with.
ReplyDeleteThe Chapterhouse casts are terrible. The shield does not actually fit over the turret without looking completely wrong(I had to cut a large chunk out of the center of the shield). The magnetization option would have required so much extra work that I ended up just saying screw it, and permanently attached the lascannon and plasma guns.
I'm not one of those guys who orders a resin kit and then whines when it takes some extra work to make right, but the amount of extra work that I put into the CHS turrets just screams bad engineering on the part of CHS.
I've built 7 of them. It does take a little work, but the ability to have any gun rather than buying a half dozen turrets for each Razorback seems worth it to me.
